An older LonelyDuck app
TuneBoi was retired in 2026
TuneBoi is no longer sold or updated. If you bought it, nothing changes for you: your license keeps working and the app keeps running.
- Your license keeps working
- Activation and the license check stay as they are, on the Macs you use now and on a new one.
- The last version stays here
- TuneBoi 1.0.0, for Macs with Apple silicon, for owners who need to install it again.Download TuneBoi 1.0.0 (.zip)
- Tulip is its successor
- Tulip was built from what TuneBoi learned: a companion for the Music app that finds duplicates, missing artwork and lyrics, and changes nothing until you say so. Free to browse and check; Pro is a one-time purchase. Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later. Meet Tulip
- Support still answers
- Write to support@lonelyduck.io about TuneBoi or anything else. One person answers, usually within two working days.
Owner's notes
Install it again
Download the .zip above, open it, and drag TuneBoi to Applications. When it starts, choose your Apple Music library or a plain music folder.
Activate
Enter the license key from your purchase email in TuneBoi. If you have an account, Account › Licenses lists your keys, the Macs each one is on, and this download. Lost the key? Write to support from the address you bought it with.
Moving to a new Mac
If TuneBoi says your license has reached its Mac limit, open Account › Licenses › View devices, deactivate the Mac you no longer use, then activate on the new one.
What it does
- Duplicates: run a scan (it compares tags and the sound itself), review what it found, then remove them in small batches.
- Lyrics: find songs without lyrics and pick the best match for each.
- Album covers: find songs without artwork and save the best match.
No more updates
1.0.0 is the last version, so a future macOS release may stop it working. If that happens, write to us.
