Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-01-18
This page is provided to help customers understand how LonelyDuck Software operates. It is not legal advice. If you have questions, email support@lonelyduck.io.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or purchasing software from LonelyDuck Software (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase our products.
2. Products and Licenses
We sell digital software licenses. A purchase typically grants you a license key that can be used to activate the product on a limited number of devices, depending on the product and the license terms.
License keys are intended for the purchaser’s use and are generally non-transferable. We may void licenses in cases of refund, fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
For software-specific license terms, see the Software EULA.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Order and receipt information (such as email address, product code, and transaction identifiers) may be stored to fulfill your purchase and provide support.
4. Refunds
Refunds (if any) are handled according to our Refund Policy.
If a refund is granted, the associated license may be voided and continued use of the software may no longer be permitted.
5. Account Responsibility
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
6. Prohibited Use
- Attempting to reverse engineer or bypass license enforcement.
- Reselling, redistributing, or sharing license keys without permission.
- Interfering with site operations, security, or infrastructure.
- Using the service for unlawful purposes.
7. Disclaimers
The website and software are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates the most recent version.
