Tulip • Next‑generation music manager

How to use Tulip

Tulip helps you clean up a music library: duplicates, missing lyrics, and missing artwork— with a modern workflow and safer automation.

1) Install

  1. Download Tulip from /tulip or downloads.
  2. Open the DMG, drag Tulip into Applications, and launch it.
  3. On first run, choose your library source (Apple Music library or folder).

2) Activate (Pro)

  1. Purchase a license from /tulip.
  2. Find the license key in your email.
  3. Enter it in-app when prompted to unlock Pro features.
  4. Manage devices any time in My Account.

Recommended workflow

  1. Start with duplicates. Run a scan, review matches, and choose which versions to keep.
  2. Fix lyrics next. Use search + preview, then apply in batches.
  3. Finish with artwork. Pick high-quality covers and apply consistently across albums.
  4. Spot check. After batch operations, verify a few albums in Apple Music.

Safety tips

  • Before large operations, keep a backup of your library/music folder.
  • Prefer smaller batches until you trust your detection settings.
  • When in doubt, keep the higher bitrate / higher quality file.

Troubleshooting

Can’t find my library: try switching between Apple Music mode and folder mode, or confirm your music folder permissions.

Activation limit reached: deactivate an old device in My Account.
