Organize Notes

Use lightweight structure so retrieval stays easy without slowing down writing.

Applies to: 0.1.0-beta.1Last updated: February 2026

Core Organization Tools

  • Folders for broad project or domain grouping.
  • Tags for flexible cross-cutting categories.
  • Pinned notes for high-frequency references.
  • Daily notes for chronological capture.
  • Templates for recurring note structures.

Suggested Structure

  1. Create top-level folders by area of responsibility, not by tiny subtopic.
  2. Use tags to connect notes that belong to multiple projects.
  3. Create one template each for meeting notes, research notes, and weekly reviews.
  4. Review trash regularly before permanent deletion.

Safety Tip

Before major cleanup or folder refactors, run a manual backup from Import, Export & Backups.
