High-Impact Settings
- AI Models: pick based on speed vs capability requirements.
- Memory Links: tune behavior for relevance and responsiveness.
- Backups: configure automatic schedules and destinations.
- Data Directory: verify where critical app data is stored.
- Shortcuts: use built-in references to improve flow speed.
Privacy and Telemetry
Canto is designed as local-first. You can manage telemetry preferences in settings. If your use case requires strict controls, review privacy settings before onboarding large datasets.
License Management
- Activate your key on first launch.
- If you switch devices, deactivate old devices from account management.
- For activation limits and email delivery problems, use Troubleshooting and Order Lookup.
